So I am going to try this whole "Blog Thing" and see if I can keep up with it. I love following others, especially my beautiful cousin Angela who nags me (lovingly) to get me to post something. She has encouraged me to do this. So if it sucks you can blame her :-) Just kidding! Her blog always inspires me, so I hope I can have as much fun with mine as she seems to with hers.
My biggest hang up on getting started has been figuring out what to write about. Well, yesterday I got my craft on. So that is what I will share.
I have been playing around with my Halloween decorations all month, and was never happy with what I had. And the way the TV is positioned right above the fireplace makes it a difficult area to work with. I finally did something that I liked with what I had , now that Halloween is just a few days away. Oh, well. I will just alter it on Thursday for a fall/Thanksgiving theme.
I think I need to work on my photography skills. Please ignore my reflection in the TV :-)
After I finished that project I decided to do some much needed pruning hacking to our magnolia tree. I bought a foam wreath form in the dollar section at target the other day. So I pulled it out and found my hot glue gun and this is what I ended up with! And it cost me $1. Can't do better than that!
I have been wanting to make a wreath for our front door for so long, and I am very happy with the outcome! Now I'm ready to make another one (with what's left of my tree).
